Pilates was designed to strengthen, lengthen and tone the body.  Focusing on core muscles, breathing and controlled movement.  
Pilates will improve posture, core strength, stability, balance, flexibility and coordination.  Stott Pilates exercises are designed to restore the natural curves of the spine and re-balance the muscles around the joints.  Modifications of each exercise allows the technique to be appropriate for many different body types and abilities.Incorporating the use of different props which add variety and challenges to each class.
